Near Death Experiences: Biblical Or Demonic

People have been reporting their near death experiences for decades, even centuries.  It has become ever more prevalent these past 40-50 years.  These accounts have ranged greatly; from the long dark tunnel with bright light, to intricate journeys led by an angel or other being.

Some have had uplifting and joyous experiences, others horrifying and fearful ones.  One person will describe seeing heaven, another hell.  They have been experienced by believers and non-believers.

The big question as Christians that we have is - are these experiences Biblical and of God, or are they a deception and of Satan?
