The ORACLE Speaks With ... YOU!

Keg Johnson, Jr. was born on October 24, 1939 and began a new journey in life on May 16, 2015. On this past Thursday, July 9 his Interment was held at the Riverside National Cemetary. With full military salute, the firing of rifles and the sharing of "Keg stories", the day was filled with honor and prestige.

The Memorial at the Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades was filled with love. One of the docents, Edy, told me she had never seen so much love amongst those attending the Memorial. Speakers included Keg's children Michael Charland-Tait, Medina Noel Johnson, and Joshua Frederic Keg Johnson, his third wife Cheryl Terry, his fourth wife Rose Mary Owwns, childhood friend Charles "Chuck" Davis, Mr. Gaines, and his dear friend, me, the ORACLE. Long time friend.Brenda Lee Eager sang The Underground Railroad: Follow The Drinking Gourd, written by Keg and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole, with her grandsons accompanying her. The meditations, prayers, flower ceremony and more, all combined to make the Memorial an incredible event.

The repast, held at the home of Keg's dear friend and engineer Jim Shifflett, was exactly what Keg wanted. He asked me to fulfill certain duties and that included each detail for the repast. It was a farewell fit for the legend he is, including a very special message from his dear friend Siva Yam, President US-china chamber of commerce.

We will hold one final tribute to the Legendary Music Producer, Father, Uncle, Friend and Brother from another Mother on his Bearthday, October 24, 2015 at a jam session for all the musicians, singers, poets, spoken word artists and more who were influenced by Keg's genius and loved him dearly for who he was.
