With the release of his new single “Time Machine,” Mike McCluney gives the world a chance to reminisce.  The Gaffney, SC native presses pause on the time of real male R&B music to give audiences the classic sound they’ve been waiting for.

Rewind back in time when a four-year-old Mike realized he wanted to pursue music. While most children in kindergarten were perfecting their ABC’s, Mike was performing concerts for peers on the school bus.

Mike’s love for music and performing led him to dance and musical instruments.  With all the determination and passion a young artist could muster; he learned how to play the piano, guitar, drums and trombone.

As Mike grew up, he was influenced by acts like Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Gerald Levert and New Edition.  His love for groups would foreshadow an opportunity of a lifetime.

Fast-forward to 2007, MTV’s Making the Band 4 challenge where “Big Mike” captured hearts and a recording deal under Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment as a member of R&B group, Day 26.

With Day 26, Mike has received several award nominations including a BET Award in 2009 for Best Group.
