14. You must build up the church as a wise masterbuilder.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:10-11

• As a minister, you are a masterbuilder because of the "grace of God," not because of any personal ability or merit.
• As a minister, you are to be a "wise masterbuilder." The word "wise" means skillful.
• As a minister, note the clear warning - let every minister take heed how he builds upon the foundation of the church.
• As a minister, there is only one foundation upon which you can build a true church: the foundation of Jesus Christ Himself.
