The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Susan Silver writer for Mary Tyler Moore.

Susan Silver was one of the original writers of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Maude and many other sit-coms. She wrote two Top Ten Movies of the Week, feature films and pilots for her own sit-coms.

She has appeared on TV talk shows such as Fox Good Day NY, The Today Show, is a frequent radio guest on Boomer issues for the Growing Bolder radio program, Bill Bennett Show and others.  She has a weekly radio commentary on the NPR affiliate out of Sharon, Connecticut and On Demand  at www.Robinhoodradio.com  and ITunes. It is called “Susan Says” and covers politics, news, culture and reviews…and things that piss her off in a segment called “Oh Come On!”

OP-Ed pieces for The New York Times, articles for Los Angeles Magazine,

and had a long running column on newyorksocialdiary.com entitled “The Search For Mr. Adequate.”

The New York Sun calls her “The Voice for those past the ‘Sex and the City’ bracket.” Recently profiled in The New York Times as a woman who overcame the odds: “Because I was a Girl.”

She has taught and lectured on Comedy at the Paley Center and SCAD, Brandeis University as well as writing venues around NYC.
