Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss the continuing fallout from the debacle in Afghanistan. More information is beginning to surface that Afghanistan was unraveling weeks before the collapse as former President Hamid Karzai warned Joe Biden that the situation in the country was fragile and Biden told him to present a rosy public picture of the situation. Remember President Trump and the phone call? Is Joe Biden now a candidate for impeachment? Also, as many as a thousand US Citizens remain in Taliban territory presenting an inviting target for an unprecedented hostage crisis. The public relations nightmare for Democrats is unmentionable if Americans are paraded before the World. American dollars in the billions could be extorted and in turn used against us. We may be financing terrorism against ourselves. How do we deal with such a scenario? Also, the $3.5T infrastructure bill is facing huge obstacles now as West Virginia Senator, Joe Manchin a Democrat is appearing to be giving it a John McCain style thumbs down. The bill that barely has 10% in actual infrastructure projects contains provisions to secure Democrat Party power for generations. How do the Democrats proceed? Texas as stirred up the abortion crowd by banning the procedure after 6 weeks as the USSC says OK! Finally, as America approaches 20 years since 9/11, on the heels of the Afghanistan capitulation, how will our country remember that faithful day, revere the victims, and now the unknown future of security?
