Death in a Syrian bread line - why?

The change in a culture or society can be filled with horror and other things that we cannot imagine.  In the past revolutions and change may require sacrifice and death.

It truly surprises most of us what one human being can do to another in the name of some belief and/or the struggle for power. 

If we as a human consciousness are evolving what do the current struggles represent?  Is there anything we should or could do?  Is there a bigger picture here?

This topic is a little heavier than what we tackle on THE MAN CAVE FORUM, however, if we are truly changing we cannot ignore what is going around us.  Yes, there are other areas of the world where injustice and pain is happening.  Let's do something about it with our loving energy and thoughts.
