Supporting Our Sisters

Supporting Our Sisters is a support group for women 18 and older. We do not require membership in Chi Beta Pi Sorority to participate in this group and we welcome women from all backgrounds to join us. We have often discussed the negative relationships between women, specifically in the African American community. Instead of the beautiful friendships we find drama, hostility and mistrust among our peers. Many women have a limited circle of support and all to often they are left to face some of life's most difficult problems alone. Supporting Our Sisters will offer biweekly group conferences and social events for members to participate in (including opportunities to attend some of Chi Beta Pi's invitation only events!). We will deal with real life issues such as financial hardship (and where to find assistance), the role of faith and prayer, healing, abuse, betrayal, addiction - just to name a few!
