From The Indianapolis Motor Speedway: Racing Duo Johnny & Loni Unser Share Tools to Help Young Drivers Stay Safe on the Road

Tire safety is often overlooked and underrated. A national survey reveals only 17 percent of drivers are “tire smart” or know how to properly check tire pressure.

Johnny Unser of the legendary Unser racing family, and his daughter, Loni (a rookie racer herself), both know how important tires are for safe, successful driving.

Loni Unser represents the third generation of one of America’s most well-known auto racing families.  Daughter of Johnny Unser, who qualified for the Indy 500 in five consecutive years, Loni is an up and coming race car driver about to begin her professional racing career and follow in the footsteps of Al and Bobby Unser Sr., Jerry Unser Jr., Al Unser Jr. and Robby Unser.  With so much family history in racing, expectations are high for the latest Unser to enter the world of professional racing.
