On at 11:00 am Shyla happened to be the youngest nominated in the history of the LAMA’s to be nominated for the prestigious Female Singer/Songwriter category! She has also been nominated in 6 categories at the Artists in Music Awards based in Hollywood, California. You can also hear Shylas music in Whitefire (film) in 2015! Shyla has performed and supported over 30 charities over the course of 6 months- 3 of her most frequent are Tunes for Tots Worldwide, Peace Friends of Hope Foundation, and Love Hope Strength. Shyla donates half of her net proceeds of her “Live at Lestats 4-4-14” EP to Love Hope Strength, and she is also the celebrity spokesperson for Peace Friends of Hope Foundation, based in Uganda.
