We are throwing around these titles very loosely these days without considering the true meaning or value of these titles. Of Course, people are saying I use them to uplift my people. Do you really think that any empowering is being done, unless they show progress of living up to the titles?

Let’s look at the basic definition of both.

King -- male ruler of an independent state, especially one who inherits the position by right of birth.

Queen -- female ruler of an independent state, especially one who inherits the position by right of birth.

1. People use these titles to make themselves feel like they are caring, sincere, and genuine, great pick-up lines.

2. Not everyone is deserving of these titles, how about addressing people by their names, sounds patronizing.

3. Some women have a problem with being called Queen because most men do not treat women in this mannerism, so stop saying it.
