1. Breaking up by text messages works for some because they can’t bear to see the individual so it’s best to do it that way. There is only so much that people are willing to text and sometimes less is more.

2. Phone calls work for others because hearing the other person’s voice, you may pick up on the sincerity of the conversation. It gives you a chance to give feedback about the outcome.

3. Face to face would be ideal because you have that person right there with contact and body language which could be the closure that some people need.
