.CLBA is not syncretic and preserves Cuba's Lukumi regional form of worship. It is a multinational membership church. CLBA operates as a centralized union of clergy members and adherents, representing members of over thirty-five nationalities.Church of Lukumi Babalu Aye is the first church of its kind established in the United States. CLBA was responsible for the legal recognition of our faith.
