Ryan Weimer is on a Mission and its to make sure that kids in Wheelchairs have an unforgettable experience at Halloween. His organization, Magic Wheelchair is a nonprofit that makes epic Halloween costumes for children in wheelchairs

I say EPIC, I mean EPIC!!! There will not be a kid big or small who will not be envious of the amazing, incredible, imaginative and spectacular costumes Ryan builds at  Magic Wheelchair, transforming wheelchairs into AWESOMNESS and at no expense to their families. The costumes are only limited by Imagination and we all know imaginations can be LIMITLESS, RIGHT?

Each year, children ( with their parents permission ) submit a one to 3 minute video explaining to the organization what they want to be for Halloween and why they should be chosen to receive a costume.

Out of all the submissions, five kids are chosen to receive an incredible costume that is guaranteed to put a smile on their face.

So, how did this come about? Ryan Weimer and his wife have five children, 2 of whom have SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, making it impossible for them to walk. Sadly two others passed from this disease, however In 2008, when Ryan’s  eldest child Keaton received his first wheelchair, his father asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween? Keaton answered, "A Pirate"

This is where it all started. Like any parent Ryan wanted to please  his kids so he made an AMAZING Pirate ship. Ryan wanted his kids to be seen as superstars, not someone to be pitied.
