Matt "Gutter" Van Buren is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who is a veteran of Bellator MMA and is expected to compete as a light-heavyweight in the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Edgar vs. Team Penn. The 19th season of TUF is scheduled to premiere on April 16th on Fox Sports 1. Gutter is originally from Chesapeake, Va. and spent most of his career at Hybrid Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. before moving to Southern California and joining Alliance MMA, training with Brandon Vera, Phil Davis, and Dominic Cruz.
