Since July generally hosts LBGTQ Pride events through the country, The Final Word Podcast will be addressing pivotal issues and moments throughout our history.

 

Too often we go about our lives as a community and do not realize the struggles and hardships overcome by the pillars of our LGBTQ community. Tonight we celebrate the lives and accomplishments of three such icons: Harvery Milk, the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California, Marsha P. Johnson, a transgender righst activist and popular figure in NYC gay scene and lastly Sylvester, an American disco and soul singer-songwriter.  Join us as we hear their story their own words, accounts from friends, family and fans and through their music.
