Marcus Smart and Jeff Orr, meanwhile, added another page to the ongoing battle between rabid fans, passionate players and some form of decency.
On The Exchange, Sumit & Jason look at the spotlight placed on the college sports world thanks to these two young men. They'll start with the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and the world that he's enterting as an openly gay man who just happens to be a top prospect in the upcoming NFL Draft. They'll be joined by The Sports Fan Journal columnist and Missouri graduate Matt Whitener to understand the immediate buzz in the home state and beyond.
They'll also flip some miles south to the aftermath of the Smart/Orr incident and actually discuss on-court action as we roll towards tournament time in mere weeks.
