Why We Started The Show, Writing With Detail, & Our Own Writing

Today’s show was all about writing and stories. We started by talking about why i began the program to begin with, and went into some talk of writing with detail. Brandon and I both read the beginnings of stories we had written, and then talked about how to bring those details out in writing.

2nd segment continued our talk, with a quick story of a how-to speech I gave back in 1999 (with brandon actually) about smashing a pie in his face.

3rd segment was a little bit from the  IELTS speaking prompt. Brandon was unprepared and not sure what to say, so if you want to hear a native speaker have trouble with an english test question, it’s a good one! The key though, is that he had something to say, and he kept talking even when he wasn’t sure.
