7. For The World: a celebration of being an up and coming artist. You don’t have the glamour and recognition like other artist, but you still live life to the fullest. Keep your eyes on the prize but enjoy the journey along the way from the lows to the highs. 

Shoot Your Shot: Just as the the title says, shoot your shot. Song about never giving up. No matter how many times you fail, don’t make it, fall up short, just keep grinding bcs you will make it.

Bio: Kevin Calhoun is an up and coming artist from the DMV. I like to consider myself the nerd of hip-hop. I love lyrical rap and 90s hip- hop. I’m different from the modern day rapper(no tattoos, no gang, no guns, no auto tune) nothing against them, but it’s not me. Influences are Kanye, Common, Wale, Lupe Fiasco, J. Cole, Kendrick. I try to make music that everyone could vibe and relate to. The artist Drizzle Gwalla in “Shoot Your Shot” was the one who put me on to the studio and the rest is history.

I’m from VA( 10 min outside DC) but I do this for all the DMV
