Calethia Horton- Founder of On One Accord - Supporting Adult Incest Rape Survivors

Calethia Horton is an all-round entrepreneur. She has over 25 years of professional experience in sales and marketing, event planning, and real estate, and is a licensed lobbyist. In 2010, Calethia embarked on a new challenge: she became the founder of On One Accord, a foundation to empower A.I.R.S. (Adult Incest Rape Survivors). As chair of this grassroots foundation as well as a professional lobbyist, Calethia advocates boldly for the people she represents. She is most proud of being a woman who survived incest rape and found the courage to tell her story. Her mission is to help other adult incest rape survivors by telling them they too have a reason to survive. She is a tireless advocate of women's rights as well as a successful fundraiser who has helped community organizations such as the Los Angeles Inner-city Games, Youth Factor Foundation, Hope for Life Foundation, Sheriff Leroy Baca Clergy Council, Hollenbeck Inner-city Games Foundation, and GLAAACA, too many to name. Calethia's most recent accomplishment was the inaugural “A Reason to Survive” Luncheon and Auction, held October 14, 2010. She has authored two highly anticipated books to be released in the fall of 2011: A Reason to Survive and Loving a Child from Incest. The support of her husband Richard and her four children Candice, Corey, Chrystopher and Chadd reminds Calethia daily that she is abundantly blessed to have such unconditional love around her.
