Public funding cuts caused many homeless shelters on government contracts to close their doors. Men and women with children who lost jobs have few places to turn. Homeless veterans also face compelling challenges. A Safe Haven has enjoyed success because they use an innovated Social Business Enterprise model that engages other businesses and everyone wins. President, Neli Vasquez-Rowland and board member, Michael Favia, a Chicago attorney, tell us more about A Safe Haven and how we can get involved.
