Betty Makoni, a girl child rights activist and multi global award winner and CNN hero for protecting the powerless has published a short poetic prose poetry book called A woman, Once A Girl-Breaking Silence which is a forerunner of her official  story, Never Again.

Betty champions the rights of girl children in Zimbabwe.  Her organization, the Girl Children Network Worldwide is the lead organization in the empowerment of girls worldwide. A survivor of rape at age six as well as orphaned at age nine, Betty fought for her education and to date she fights for girls in similar circumstances around the world.  Join us as we talk with Betty Makoni about her new book, her journey, and her passion for helping girls all over the world.  You don't want to miss this show.
