Laugh It Off - With guest Shelley Fisher, The Hebrew Hillbilly

Today we have our guest co-host Jo Willette and our guest Shelley Fisher, The Hebrew Hillbilly.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Shelley was born with a slightly tarnished silver fork in her mouth. Through her house wafted the sweet honey suckled aromas of her Mama's down home cookin'. Much of her life's work has been dedicated to recreating the authentic corn bread of her youth. She has triumphed with her signature dish, Horny Cornbread StudMuffins®.

As with most young people, identity took a while in coming. When Shelley was barely twelve, her Daddy died. She skipped through adolescence and learned to sing and cook, soon becoming famous for her delectable Corned Beef and Cleavage. 

After graduating with honors from Boston University, Shelley completed her graduate work in Fine Arts and Trauma at UCLA, but, she is most proud of her post graduate stint at the  world renowned Cordon Blow School of Hot Cuisine. 

She recorded a solo album on Fantasy Records, wrote 'Disgorilla', the sequel to Rick Dee's 'Disco Duck', and scored a vocal hit with 'Wonder Woman' on Road Show Records.

Shelley's live performance lineup includes the Playboy Clubs International, the Improv, Marina City Club, Moonshadows Malibu, and BB King's. Her unique blend of music and comedy has captivated audiences worldwide.
