Ah holiday season. As everyone in the US recuperates from the traditional Thanksgiving gluttony, we join the rest of the world in looking towards the rest of the holiday season - a time filled with gratitude, being thankful ... and food. During this time most people also turn their attention towards health, fitness and nutrition - or at least start laying the foundation for that to start after the New Year. Health and wellness, however, are a year-round proposition and it all starts with the food you bring home to your own kitchen. Fooducate launched in January 2011 and in the last 11 months has been going gangbusters in the space of food education. This week marks the 10 millionth product added to their system and more than 1 million downloads of their app. On today's show, Fooducate CEO and Founder Hemi Weingarten joins to discuss the company's milestones, what people can do to be healthy during this time of year and what he's doing about it.

The Conversation is not about technology. It's about what you do with it. Jumping from this basic premise, each week The Conversation's Executive Producer & Host Cathy Brooks explores the bits and bytes that are changing the way people get and share information, interact and the way in which this is fundamentally changing social and professional interactions. Each week guests ranging from up and comer entrepreneurs to seasoned influencers and everyone in between join Cathy to talk about what they do, why they do it and how their personal story fits into the mix.
