While commercial interest started tapping us on the shoulder and giving a "psssst, it's holiday time" many weeks ago, traditionally it's the week of Thanksgiving when folks not only start thinking about Christmas (Hanukah, Kwanzaa) but also about gratitude. Thing is, with technology and the way in which it's been leveraged so well in the last year or so with regards to charitable giving and philanthropic organizations, it seems that holiday season is now more of a crescendo than an abrupt cymbal crash.
