TOAS presents Classical Pianist-Dancer, Ashley Kossie-Sauls

Ashley N. Kossie-Sauls began training at an early age as a classical pianist under the tutelage of Mrs. Lillian Duval. Under Mrs. Duval's mentorship, she learned to appreciate the art of music and quickly developed an ear for tone and sound.  If Ashley could think of one phrase that describes her amazement at being used by God in the area of dance it would be “Imagine Me.”

Ashley had never been involved in a praise dance ministry nor danced in a church setting, but God used this time to stir up the gift within her. Ashley is the leader of Essence of Praise and DaNoise under the covering of Magnolia First Baptist Church. Even though her initial training was not in the area of dance, her training in music continues to assist her in moving in the praise dance ministry.

In 2011, the Lord birth the passion in her to create a professional dance company.  The name Zeman comes from Ecclesiastes 3:1, which means, “appointed time” in Hebrew. Her desire is to encourage and inspire worshipers regionally and internationally to “Move in sync with God’s Timing.”
