Guest: Var-Don was born Levar Dawkins and was raised in the Bronx, New York City. From a young age it was seen that he was natural performer. Both parents being from Jamaica, as a young boy he would take the mop and pretend he was Bob Marley. Not only does Var-Don rap he is also an actor. His musical influences have been Rappers such as Slick Rick, Mase, and Jay Z.  Var-Don began recording music during the early 2000s. Var dropped his first official mixtape titled “The New York Giant” in 2009 which is available on datpiff.com, since then Var-Don has continue to release some freestyles, more mixtapes and some EP’s.
