The Apostle Peter warns us to be sober and vigilant because our adversary the Devil as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour. But in process of time, poets, philosophers and theologians would muse over the nature of what is truly good and what is truly evil. Even Satan himself would be reinvented during the renaissance of the 14 – 17 century and the so-called age of enlightenment which followed. No longer was Satan the Prince of Darkness, the enemy of mankind and devourer of the Just. He was instead a tragic hero who suffered unjustly at the hand of God for his desire to free humanity from ignorance and tyranny by granting them forbidden knowledge. The Satanists of the past met in secret, clad in black and practiced the most diabolical of magics. But the world has changed and with it the passing away of Biblical values. The Satanist no longer feels the need to hide in shadow. Satanists of today are unremarkable young men and women who trumpet their love for the adversary on blogs, social media and even in song. They scoff at the rules and regulations imposed on them by God and despise any and all Biblical instructions. For them, the freedom and acceptance they crave can only be found in the loving arms of the Beast.  But are they truly free...or merely slaves to their own ungodly lusts? Join us today for another installment of “From Darkness to Light” as we examine and expose Satan’s false promise of liberation that has enslaved a Generation!
