Dr. Walter M. Kimbrough is the 7th president of Dillard University, a private historically Black liberal arts college, affiliated with the United Church of Christ in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He chats with AYG about their time together as campus life administrators at Emory University, why he adopted a social justice mission at Philander Smith College during his time there as president, taking Dr. Dre to task for his $35 million to USC, charting the future for a post-Katrina Dillard University, the future of HBCUs, the importance of a liberal arts education and how a young Black man from southwest Atlanta becomes the @HipHopPrez.
