Prema Gaia is a magazine writer, 'New World Consciousness Publicist', dancer, yogini, Shamanic Priestess, Lightweaver, world-traveler and co-creatress of Sacred Feminine Activation Gatherings. Prema received degrees in International Business and Broadcast Journalism in her early twenties and moved from Canada to Los Angeles, where she was fascinated by the fast-paced and glamorous life that opened up for her: modeling, doing TV commercials and music videos, frequenting the A-List Hollywood night-club scene and and co-creating publicity workshops for up-and-coming actors, alongside famous 'publicist-to-the-stars' Jay Bernstein.

Although this life was fun and exciting at the time, Prema’s relationship with ‘recreational’ drugs, alcohol and eating disorders began to feel increasingly like a self-destructive ticking time-bomb. Her first major spiritual awakening in 2001 was about to catalyze an inconceivably paradigm-shifting transformation that would ensue in the years to come.
