On June 6 1996, the most shocking and now most infamous murders of Rowlett, Texas took place inside the home of Darin and Darlie Routier.  The victims were 5 year old Damon Routier and his 6 year old brother Devin.  Darlie recieved several wounds including a knife wound just 2mm from her carotid artery.  To this day, Darlie's claim has never changed, an intruder broke in and killed her children and attempted to kill her while they were asleep in the living room.  Her husband Darin was supposedly sleeping upstairs in their bedroom while the murders occurred.  Shortly after the death of her sons, Darlie was considered the prime and only suspect.  Eventually Darlie was charged with only one count of murder for the death of Damon.  The murder weapon for Devin has never been identified, but remember, both boys were stabbed.  The jury was not shown crucial pictures which would have lead them in a different decesion.  Even one juror stated such claim.  DNA could potentially lead to proving what Darlie has said all along, that she is innocent.  Was Darlie Routier the person who stabbed her children to death, obviously with two different weapons or was she falsy accussed and convicted.  Tune in this Wednesday at 6 PM EST as my guest will be Melissa Higgins.  Melissa has been involved a several wrongfuly convicted cases including being part of the West Memphis 3.  This is sure to be a must listen.
