Hey there friends.  Well more than a week has passed since the George Zimmerman verdict divided us as a nation and to my point and pride; no wide spread violence or riots broke out in protest.  The “fear of a Black Planet” was unfounded and White America can stand in amazement about how “normal” colored folk can be about a hot topic issue.
Now in follow up to the verdict, the President issued a statement of disappointment about the “stand your ground” laws and the resulting problems with them.  Sen. John McCain went Maverick again and stated that he too feels the law is flawed and his home state of Arizona should change it.  In a non-surprise, Hannity and his ilk have raised straw man arguments over Obama’s statement in order to again raise the ire of their mindless audiences.  Even self appointed Black opposition talking head, Tavis Smiley felt compelled to BS his foot into the fray.
Meanwhile in the rest of the news, Detroit files bankruptcy, Texas and North Dakota attempt to roll the clock back on abortions, Boehner tries to rewrite his job & his role in leading the most ineffectual Congress since Marc Antony took over Rome, and oh yeah, a kid is born on some island in the Atlantic. That and more are on the agenda for tonight’s show.
Focusing on the major and sometimes overlooked topics affecting us in America today, the Nitelifer Circle of Sanity examines what is going on in Baltimore MD, Seattle WA, and all parts of the country in between.  The “Media” is or isn't talking about it, but regardless, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity is! We hope to enlighten and educate while delivering the seriousness of the issues with sarcasm and humor.  Whether it is politics or social issues, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity will be there.
