Welcome to the NEW America fellow students.  According to the reactionary Right’s review, Romney lost because we are “now” living in an America filled with people that “want stuff”.  What are YOUR thoughts about that?
President Obama won on the strength of his “coalition” of Blacks, Hispanics, Gays, and single White women…, NOT!  This election was a referendum on the policies and direction the country is headed.  America, by majority consensus, was not falling for the politics of hate and divisiveness and went with common sense and reality.  While the Republicans and the Romney campaign chose to believe skewed polls and Fox News hype, reality on the ground proved out.  This race was never close and Obama not only won the Electoral College, but the popular vote as well.  By the way, who called this result first?  Yeah, Yale did!
Oh and by the way; spies, sex, secrets and scandal!  Skyfall opened last week and no one is paying attention because real spy drama is happening at the CIA!  WOW!
We WILL hit these points and more, tonight at 8:00pm EST.
Focusing on the major and sometimes overlooked topics affecting us in America today, the Nitelifer Circle of Sanity examines what is going on in Baltimore MD, Seattle WA, and all parts of the country in between.  The “Media” is or isn't talking about it, but regardless, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity is! We hope to enlighten and educate while delivering the seriousness of the issues with sarcasm and humor.  Whether it is politics or social issues, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity will be there.
