To date, she has received honors including winning 1st place out of over 12,000 entries in the 2004 International Songwriters Competition, 2005 Unisong Songwriters Competition, the 2006 & 2007 John Lennon Songwriters Competition. Her song Dare 2 Be won 1st place for the Billboard Songwriters competition and also received honorable mention with Billboard for “You Take My Breath Away," "Broken and Blessed," and "I Am With Thee.” Also, her song “Dare 2 Be” was a top 5 finalist for the VH1 song of the year songwriter’s competition.
