George W. Stewart was born in Tuscaloosa, Al. but he spent the majority of life in Birmingham, Al. Stewart is married to one of the Southeast leading pediatrician Dr. Jacqueline W. Stewart. They both are ordained minister and have founded ministries such as Last Psalm Ministries, Mission Hugs, and The American Gospel Quartet Convention. George W. Stewart interests are varied. He's a writer and youth advocate. His writing include the book, The Black Male: Heads or Tails? His songs have been recorded by the likes of Dorothy Norwood, Doc McKenzie, Evelyn Agee, Roscoe Robinson, The Selvys' , and others. His plays include "Lord, All Men Can't Be Dogs, and his most recent Urban Sociodrama "Ain't No Fool Like An Old Fool." Stewart love for children is evident in his volunteerism in school throughout the country. He has co founded Cover To Cover Organization and The International Youth SummitJacqueline W. Stewart, along with the Advisory Board and members of the American Gospel Quartet Convention officially announce the 2010 AGQC gathering. The 18th Annual AGQC will be held January 19 – 23, 2010, in Birmingham, Alabama. The 2010 AGQC will exhibit a strong revival atmosphere with a mixture of church and music industry presentations, seminars, record company showcases, special luncheons, fellowshipping, and powerful preaching will all be a part of the 18th Annual gathering. Groups and individuals are encouraged to make reservations and plans early for the 2010 AGQC. The five day gathering is surely going to be a great place to begin your year.
