Through the devastation that occurred in New Orleans and in Haiti a few issues became evident. We as a community are not prepared when disaster strikes. We saw in New Orleans, martial law. People running through out community with guns pointed at our family who are hungry looking for food. We see the same thing now happening down in Haiti to our families who are hungry, looking for food. In all cases resources seem to come to slowly and military force is quick to be enacted. How to get prepared for the worse. This is a continuance of our ongoing series that we at The Coonery are focusing on for the next several weeks. Next in the Painting Terrorism Black will be "The New Cotton" From Race Chattel Slavery to Race Conviction Slavery. We will have on our show Author Leo Hicks who wrote "The New Cotton" From Race Chattel Slavery to Race Conviction Slavery. The week after we will be discussing and analyzing one of the most blatant and obvious incidents of terrorism against our people here in this country within the last 40 years. The bombing of MOVE by the Philadelphia Police Department. Please Join us as Ramona Africa, a survivor the MOVE bombing.
