Jennifer from Literate Housewife dishes on books, blogging and book blogging!

My name is Jennifer and I blog on The Literate Housewife Review. I am a woman who has loved to read since the first grade, 30 some years ago. Both my Bachelor’s and my Master’s degrees are in English literature. When I’m not reading, I am the mother of two daughters, Emma, age 7 and Allison, age 5. My husband Danny and I have been married for 12 years. I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and I love my home state. My family and I live in Southwest Virginia, which is a great place to raise a family. Michigan will always have a special place in my heart, though. I love being able to show people where I’m from by pointing at my hand. During the day I am a Sr. Business Systems Analyst for a dental insurance company. I’ve worked there for nearly 10 years and, more often than not, I love my job. I am now working with my company’s web team, so I’m hoping on developing stronger web skills to improve my blog.
