Born in Savannah, GA, July 11th 1981, Shalonda comes from the line up of eleven children, of which she is the youngest. "It takes a lot of strength to be the last one. Why? Because you always feel like everybody's waiting on you to be somebody. The pressure of that is enormous!" Shalonda decided one day after doing a lot of praying and questioning that it was time for her to focus on who she was and not worry about measuring up.
