In I Kings 17, we read about Elijah, the widow woman and her son, although God's direction seems strange and contrary to most human expectations especially given His capabilities; God always knows exactly what He's doing! As Elijah, the widow woman and her son learn, we are sustained and rewarded when we follow God's instructions.
