Ann McDaniel is the Executive Director of the West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council.  She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Marshall University in Huntington, WV and does training and technical assistance for SILCs for the national IL Net training project

, J.K. McAtee.  graduate of Fairmont State University with A.S. in Insurance and B.S. in Business, J.K is the WV leadership Academy Co ordinator. holds a skill set certificate as a Peer Support Specialist from WV State Community and Technical College as well as the Peer Recovery Support Specialist designation

Renate Pore has worked in health policy for more than 30 years.  She currently works for West Virginians for Affordable Health Care.  She chairs the West Virginia Medicaid Coalition which works to protect and preserve Medicaid.  She also chairs the Protect Our Care Communications Committee to fight repeal of the Affordable Care Act

We will be discusing what life was like before ACA and  possible solution if the bill is repealed and advocacy efforts to inform the public about the truth of ACA which has helped many people and is still very much needed.
