Colorado Kids Against Fracking

Adults may feel powerless to stop the fracking industry from expanding, but kids in Colorado are freely speaking their minds and working for change. Talkupy with Annie Lindstrom welcomes Emma, founder of Kids Against Fracking, and Xiuhtezcatl, an activist with Earth Guardians, to the show on Thursday, May 30 at 2 pm Eastern Time. Emma and Xiuhtezcatl have been fighting on the front lines to ban fracking and to stand up for the Earth, water, air and atmosphere. Both young activists have met with Colorado politicians to voice their concerns, organized protests for kids and making headlines in local and international news media.
