The FACTS About the Obama Birther Controversy: Truth vs Obsfucation

There have been fewer politcal controversies that have been more fraught with determined attempts to obsfucate the truth than the matter of Barack Obama's Article II eligibility to be President of the United States.  The matter is clouded and often misleadingly conflated with the matter of his likely identity fraud,  i.e. his apparently forged birth certificate and his forged selective service registration.  A thorough examination of this matter is frequently confounded by the efforts of those determined to prevent an honest examination of this matter.  Ridicule,  intimidation, cover-up and collusion are their stock in trade has they often attempt to explain away or otherwise cover up the truth of this vital issue.  

To many,  there is a simple disbelief at the notion that an obviously constitutionally unqualified usurper could be allowed to assume the most powerful political office in the world.  But has John Adams said,  facts are stubborn things,  and there are innumerable facts that strongly indicate that that is exactly what was allowed to happen.  If so,  than it is the greatest political fraud and usurpation in the history of the world.  Obama may be the embodiment and personification of the wisdom of the Constitution's framers in requiring the POTUS to be a natural born citizen.  Yet at the exact moment that it's enforcement seemed to be necessary,  it was ignored by most of those in all political parties.  The question is WHY?
