A transgender (evolution) story

Nori is a transgender identified service provider and community activist. She has worked for the last 2 1/2 years for Transpowerment, a program that caters to the needs of the Transgender community in Santa Clara County, as a Health Educator. She also facilitates the Transgender Womens' Support at the Billy DeFrank LGBT Center in San Jose. She is also active in HIV prevention and Education, as a Commissioner on Santa Clara County's HIV Planning Council for Prevention & Care, and serves as Co-Chair of its Prevention & Education Committee. She is also certified as an HIV test counselor. She has been in a committed relationship for the last 18 years and has 2 birds and a dog. In her spare time she likes gardening and camping in the outdoors.
