"December Days" - To Celebrate Or Not...Birthday Origins!

With Alyssa's birthday only being one day before my next show, I thought it would be kind of cool to have a birthday origin show, with discussion about our feelings on birthday celebrations.  For years we have celebrated our birthdays, had parties, cakes, wore party hats, decorated with streamers and balloons and, of course, sang the "Happy Birthday Song", while giving the all-important birthday cards and gifts!  But why are we celebrating this way?  Who began this tradition and why?

Join us this coming Sunday to talk about where birthday parties got their start and what our feelings are about birthdays.  Some love their birthdays, while others avoid them like the plague.  Chat with us or call in and share your thoughts on the birthday tradition.
