This benefit show is for my longtime friend, Dan Muro.  We have known each other since grade school and re-connected through Facebook.  I was saddened to hear that recently Dan has been losing his eyesight to a disease called Keratoconus, which he was diagnosed with 10 years ago.  This past year is when the decline was very obvious and scary for him.

In a desperate attempt to save his sight, Dan put a very expensive experimental surgery on credit card and flew to California to get it done.  At first his sight was back to 20/20, but after two weeks, his right eye became badly infected and his vision is nearly gone from that eye.  In order to go back to the original doctor who did this surgery, he needs to gather funds to afford it.  Because his vision is very important to his current job that he greatly loves in physical therapy, he was laid off.  His money situation is even worse now that he is unable to work, but he needs to save his sight so he can go back to working and repay his credit card debt.

I wanted to have this benefit on our show to help him possibly raise those funds to save his sight and to get his life back.  Dan will be a guest on our show and he will explain all he has gone through, continues to go through and may go through. Please consider donating whatever you can to his cause.  No amount is too little.  Every little bit helps.  I know we are all struggling, but if we help one another where we can, we can survive together.

He now has a Facebook group to help his cause...join and see what you can to do to help out a giving man, who not only works in physical therapy, but is also a co-founder of D.O.M.A., which is an organization that saves abused and lost animals.
