About Jason Strickland

Jason serves as Project Sanctuary’s Chief Development Officer (CDO), joining the team in November 2013. In this capacity, he is responsible for all Project Sanctuary fundraising and development activities.

Jason knows the struggles, joys, and rewards of a military lifestyle. During his 20-year career in the U.S. Army, he was deployed on multiple occasions to locations in the Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean for activities ranging from Operation Iraqi Freedom to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.

Our mission is to take our military families from battle-ready to family-ready by providing six-day, outdoor, therapeutic retreats in a healing environment and ongoing family support services for two years following each retreat.
