Have Things Gone Wrong For Eddie Long?: The Issue Plaguing The Bishop

Tonight we kick-off season two with a most sensational story and a guest commentator, prolific blogger, writer, and author Eliashib, pen named Reid Kloss. The news media is looping the Eddie Long fiasco ad nauseam so don't get cross with me, everybody else is wagging the tongue about the alleged Bishop Eddie Long scandal, so why shouldn't we give our audience the opportunity to weigh in from a Christian perspective with the modernized, spiritualized response that the Talking To Tasha show is famous for. Afterall, the media has all but crucified the man...his loyal members are standing by his side, hoping the allegations are false (me too). But, if we are hopeful and turn out to be hopefully wrong and the allegations are true, will this be a blow to Christianity and other ministries? I would love to say I've never had a fall, but the truth is I have fallen...more than once, bad, openly, with nowhere to run or hide - while I was in a position of authority and promoting the gospel. I feel his pain - but where do we go from here? Whatever happened to restoring such a one considering ourselves lest we fall? Believe it or not, the same God who restored you and me, still restores. Tonight we will discuss this with humility remembering Eliashib, which means, God restores.
