The promises of God are conditional, yet so often we want the promise without the premises. Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments...why do people think this is in exception to sexual immorality...there is no hall pass for the homo, lesbo, fornicator, adulterer etc. This week marks the intense focus of prayer for those affected and infected with HIV/AIDS, but how do we approach a God who expects obedience, by not clarifying our role as those who love him and are obedient. He said, if my people who are called by my name would humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways...STOP! Here is the kicker, we want the blessing of healing without turning from our wicked ways.
