Empowering Serenity show w/ guest Carolyn Matthews Maddamma

Welcome to Carolyn Matthews Maddamma, who is a mother of three, a grandmother and a widow.  At age 40, Carolyn was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and has been living with it for over twenty-eight years.  After nine years of dealing with a downward spiral from the ailment, she found her husband, her rock, was dying of cancer.  After his death and several more years of fighting the effects of MS, her condition began to stabilize.  Writing had always been an interest of hers and she finally wrote her first book typing with one finger.  Her story tells of her ability to find joy and happiness in the most mundane things and the delight of exploring new interests within her capability.
