On Wednesday evening, May 16th, 7 Pm CST please join me on the Global Voice when I will be interviewing Jen Bersdale, the Director of Advocacy and Communications at Central Reform Congregation in the city of St. Louis, MO and Piera, a full-time studio artist, life-long community activist and a

member of the Unitarian Church of Saint Louis.

Located in neighboring houses of worship in the City of St. Louis these two women came together to help “The Covering House” open a safe home for girls ages 6-18 who have been the victims of sexual trafficing and exploitation.Their first collaborative event is called “The Quilt Blitz” and will be held on Saturday, May 19th at the Electricians Hall where quilts will be created to create warmth and hope for these young girls. Other faith based organizations from across the St. Louis metro area will be involved.

Listen in, call in and see how you can get involved!  Call 347-884-8988 and check out www.blogtalkradio.com/susanpiontek.
